The process of designing a logo involves multiple stages of consultation, research, planning, sketching, and multiple design concepts, revisions, and more. This is why custom logo design packages can vary greatly in price and the amount of time and effort required to complete the project, ranging from a minimal cost to a significant investment.
What is the client involvement in the design process?
At Summit Web Creations we involve our clients in the logo design process to ensure that their vision is brought to life. Before beginning a project, we encourage clients to share any inspiration or ideas they have to help us understand their preferred style. Throughout the process, we involve clients in reviewing and providing feedback on the design, as well as making revisions as needed.
Do you work with clients locally only?
We will work with clients locally and internationally! We take pride in our work and our ability to connect with clients all over the world in achieving their professionally designed logos.
Do I get an AI/Vector file of my logo once finished?
Upon completion of the logo design process, you will receive the final versions of your logo in various file formats including AI/Vector, JPEG, and PNG. These files can be used to create branded materials such as business cards, letterhead, envelopes, brochures, websites, mailing labels, presentation folders, and any other marketing materials your business logo and branding should be displayed.
What happens if I require more than the set amount of revisions?
Additional revisions or changes to the initial design may result in additional charges. If you have additional ideas or requests during the process, we may need to put in extra hours to accommodate them. Any additional hours will be quoted at our hourly rate of $100 + GST and will require your approval before proceeding.
How long does a logo take to complete?
The timeline for completing a logo design project varies depending on the level of communication and feedback provided. At Summit Web Creations, a Red Deer, Alberta based custom logo design agency, we prioritize collaborating with our clients to ensure that their vision is reflected in the final product. This process may take longer, but it allows us to create a logo that our clients will be proud of. On average, our logo design projects take 2-3 weeks to complete.
Will I own my logo once it’s done?
Yes, you will own your finalized custom logo. When you hire us, we are contracted to professionally design a logo that is your intellectual property, on your behalf.
However, we do not offer any patent/trademark registration – this is a separate process that is optional on your end.
